I have now completed the Blockout we have been working on in Maya.
At this stage we have yet had the need to use BitBucket or GetHub for cross collaboration on this work, getting by with using purely USBs as it's basically quicker for now, but will have to switch once the base model has been started.
This was quite a quick process so I decided to put some base colours on a few of the more key feature of the space to help with them standing out, both for in Maya and when it'll be placed in Unreal.

The fireplace area and the opposite wall seen below are going to be the area that'll require continues reshaping in order the fit all of there features correctly as seen in the source material.

Sofa and chaise longue are obviously from the same base. Will probably be less so in Zbrush.

The finishes curtains for the final interior may still be modelled in Maya though rather than Zbrush. Considering their more modular form for all the walls and 'Smoothing Groups' can be used with a High Poly to make them more realistic.

Now that this stage has been completed I can put this task into our 'Done' column in Trello and export the Blockout to Unreal.
