Before starting on the main separate walls for the interior I wanted to make sure that we could have the magical lighting effects that appear in the source series that're cast by the main character.

These would act as a secondary lighting effect to the lamps and candles that're all around the room.

I really wasn't sure how to do this at first but but sort of had an idea about how to start.

I got a spherical object in Unreal and went into material editor. After that I consulted a few online sources on how to create a glow effect so the object wouldn't appear solid.

These had mixed results (as can be seen above) as I either got information on how to make an object 'glow or transparent' but not both at once, as that was what I needed. I still tried a few patterns seen above though just to make sure that the effects would match up and wasn't to bad. So I consulted other students on the GA Discord server and one showed me a very effective way in which to achieve this.

After this I repopulated the interior with the altered spherical magical lights and seems to really fit the look of what we're going for.
